Sometimes when working on a project for a while its nice to take a brake, change your surroundings, and go outdoors for a sketch.

I've experimented quite a bit with screen printing over the last couple of years. I've printed multi coloured images, and i've printed halftoned black and white photography but I had never printed a four colour process print.

Untill recently...

With the exhibition Colour shop coming up it seemed the perfect time to play around with colours, and to use those colours to create a greyscale image.

At a distance it appears to be just a grey circle, but up close its a mass of organised little dots of CMYK. It's currently on display until the 4th of October, at Gatehouse Arts, Eastgate Gallery.
